I didn’t get to read your message, but it clearly affected me. Not because of what was written, but because of what it stirred.

Let me say this simply and without drama, I remember your aversion to it.

Meeting Bonnie and his wife had nothing to do with you. There was no intention to reach out, provoke, or reopen anything. They have been kind to me independently, and I value that for what it is.

We may not have existed publicly, but that does not mean I cannot exist respectfully in shared spaces. I am careful with boundaries, and I intend to remain that way.
